Honoring Barbara Cubin

Barbara Cubin made history as the first woman to represent Wyoming in Congress, serving as a passionate advocate for western state interests. Encouraged by her family’s confidence in her abilities, Barbara transitioned from a career as a chemist, teacher, and social worker to public service. As a member of the United States House of Representatives, she became one of the highest-ranking women in the GOP, serving as Secretary of the House Republican Conference and chairing the Committee on Resources’ Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources.

Throughout her career, Barbara championed important causes, including the creation of the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper, preserving Wyoming’s rich history for future generations. A proud fifth-generation Wyomingite, her deep-rooted connection to the state is reflected in her family’s long history of community involvement. Beyond her political achievements, Barbara is an inspiring voice for perseverance and self-confidence, encouraging others to follow their passions and pursue their goals.

Featuring Will Reeve

Will ReeveWill Reeve is a television personality, reporter, and journalist currently serving as a correspondent for Good Morning America. He has also contributed to ESPN and MSG Network, where his work in sports journalism gained widespread recognition. Growing up as the son of Christopher Reeve, the actor famous for portraying Superman, Will’s life was shaped by the values of resilience and determination passed down from his parents. He is also a board member of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, continuing their legacy of advocacy for individuals living with paralysis.

A graduate of Middlebury College, Will’s career began as an intern at Good Morning America, eventually leading to a full-time position. His personal journey, marked by the loss of both parents at a young age, has inspired his advocacy for perseverance and purpose. Will continues to share his story of strength and legacy, encouraging others to overcome challenges and find meaning in their experiences. His powerful message will be a highlight at the 27th Annual Awards & Recognition Breakfast.
