Honoring Cody & Crystal Myers

Cody & Crystal Myers Riverton Honorees 2026Cody & Crystal Myers have devoted their lives to guiding, mentoring, and advocating for young people across Fremont County.

Cody’s journey began with his own time at the Boys & Girls Club as a child, a safe place that left a lasting impression during a challenging season of his life. That early experience helped shape his career in law enforcement, where he spent nearly two decades as a School Resource Officer, coach, and mentor. Through his work in schools, youth leadership programs, and now Director of Campus Security at CWC, Cody became known for meeting kids where they are and challenging them to believe in what they can become.

Crystal’s background in agriculture, education, and youth leadership brought structure, encouragement, and vision to every program they touched. From her time as Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2007 and her 11 years serving as National Director for the Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association to her work in schools and early childhood education, Crystal has consistently focused on helping young people set goals, build confidence, and see their own potential.

Together, Cody and Crystal created and led mentorship initiatives including Ready to Ride, leadership camps, and community-based programs that emphasized accountability, resilience, and character. Their work has reached hundreds of young people, many of whom continue to credit the Myers for helping them find direction, purpose, and hope. Their four children remain one of the greatest highlights of their lives.

Ed McCaffrey’s NFL career is defined by consistency, toughness, and championship performance at the highest level of professional football. Playing wide receiver from 1991 to 2003, McCaffrey earned three Super Bowl titles with the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos and became one of quarterback John Elway’s most trusted targets during Denver’s championship runs.

Over his career, McCaffrey recorded more than 7,400 receiving yards, 55 touchdowns, and multiple 1,000-yard seasons, including back-to-back 1,000-yard performances during Denver’s consecutive Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1998 and later named to the Denver Broncos’ 50th Anniversary Team, cementing his legacy as one of the franchise’s most dependable receivers.

After his playing career, McCaffrey transitioned into leadership roles off the field, serving as a head football coach at both the high school and collegiate levels. His experience as a player, coach, and mentor allows him to speak with authority on teamwork, preparation, and long-term success in competitive environments.

There is no cost to attend the breakfast, but guests are asked to make a meaningful contribution to the Boys & Girls Club of Riverton.
