JIM MORRIS, a former Major League Baseball pitcher, is best known for making his MLB debut at age 35 with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. His incredible journey from high school teacher and baseball coach to professional athlete has been chronicled in his autobiography, The Oldest Rookie, and brought to life in the 2002 film The Rookie, where he was portrayed by Dennis Quaid. Morris now shares his story of perseverance and faith with audiences nationwide, inspiring them to chase their dreams no matter the obstacles

There is no cost to attend the dinner, but guests are asked to make a meaningful contribution to the Boys & Girls Club of Glenrock
