Mark Wilson has been apart of the Buffalo community for the last 28 years and has shown what it means to have an impact on your community. He has done every job imaginable, running grocery stores, managing nursing homes, and starting his own successful businesses, but none of these things are as important to Mark as his contributions to the community.
Mark serves as the chairman of the board of directors for the WYLDlife Fund, he has hosted fundraisers for programs around town, and when he is not doing those things, he is helping anyone in need with a project around their house. He was selected as this year’s honoree for his leadership, service, and loyalty to the Buffalo community.
Mark sees the impact the Club has on members each day, because he has a front row view of the action living across the street from the Club, and he loves to hear the sounds of members having fun. “The Club is a place where you can reach the heart of a child” says Mark. He loves that the Club provides youth with structure, hope, and positive mentors.
The breakfast will also feature three-time Super Bowl Champion Ed McCaffrey. McCaffrey won back-to-back Championships with the Denver Broncos and one with the San Francisco 49ers. After his playing career, McCaffrey served as the head coach at Valor Christian High School, and at the University of Northern Colorado until 2022. McCaffrey and his wife Lisa have four sons, each of whom played football, including Christian, a start running back for the San Francisco 49ers. McCaffrey will participate in a Q&A panel facilitated by Buffalo High School Seniors Will H. & Hazen C.
