``I celebrated 4 years with the club in March!! Having been an advocate for children throughout my career, I have a passion for kids. I grew up in Casper and moved to the Glenrock area 8 years ago. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement of Early Childhood from the University of Wyoming. Prior to coming to the Club, I worked as a social services worker for the Department of Family Services and as a case manager for Wyoming Medicaid in the Department of Health. I have 2 kiddos that mean the world to me! I love to spend time with my family when I am not at the club! I was attracted to the mission of the Boys & Girls Club and how it matched my personal passion to make a difference for children. One thing that I have learned from working at the club is that love is most powerful! I have found that our members don’t need another person telling them how bad they were, what they did wrong or why I was disappointed in them. They need someone to ask about their weekends, classes, clubs and interests which makes the world of a difference when getting to know them. They know I really care because I showed them. It is my job to give kids a safe place where they feel wanted, needed, seen and heard.``
