Through the generous support of community partners and donors, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming received over 1,000 pounds of beef and non-perishable food items to feed youth at the Club and to give to families in need. The beef was donated to the Club by Wyoming rancher and philanthropist, Jay Butler, and processing was donated by the Wyoming Hunger Initiative. This beef will be used in meals served at the Clubs in Casper, Buffalo, Riverton, Dubois, and Glenrock, and will also be distributed to Club families.
Additionally, right before Christmas, volunteers packed food boxes for 50 families at the Boys & Girls Club of Riverton. Food items were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Riverton and Buckle Up for Life, Wyoming! In addition to non-perishable food items, families also received a beef donation from Grey Reef Ranch.
We are grateful for our generous community partners and volunteers! It is through this support that we are able to fulfill our mission “to inspire all youth, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.”
